Carmageddon again tomorrow morning and other headlines from Sunday

All of the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 where it intersects with the Glendale Freeway (CA Highway 2) will remain closed for Monday morning's rush hour traffic, and may not reopen until Tuesday.  The death of "Glee" star Cory Monteith is not a case involving "foul play" according to police in Vancouver.  He was 31.  Having a history of substance abuse, speculation swirls that he may have suffered from an overdose.Baron Davis sent out a tweet that he was only joking about having been abducted by aliens.  Makes perfect sense. While the U.S. Justice Department may pursue George Zimmerman for civil rights violations, don't look for the parents of Trayvon Martin to sue him themselves.  Under Florida's "Stand Your Ground Law", someone who is found innocent of killing someone through self-defense is automatically exempt from civil suit over the matter.  Since Zimmerman didn't assert a stand your ground defense, a judge could rule that this provision of the law wouldn't apply, but it's a risk.  If the parents sue and lose, the law provides for the defense to recover legal fees from the plaintiff. After saying she would never marry again several years ago, actress Halle Berry has tied the knot.A Michigan man has sued a company where he was applying for a job, claiming he wasn't hired solely due to the fact his weight is more than 250 lbs.  Michigan law prohibits discrimination based on weight. In the Pittsburgh area, a woman gave birth to a baby that weighed 13 pounds, 12 ounces.  That's one big baby.Imagine getting a note from your daughter ten years after her untimely death.  That's what happened to a woman whose daughter had put a message into a bottle and tossed it into the ocean when she was young.  She died in a fall while visiting Europe at age 18.  The bottle was discovered among Hurricane Sandy debris, and returned to the mother.  She found it "joyful".U.S. sprinter Tyson Gay has tested positive for a banned substance and will not compete at the upcoming World Championships."Despicable Me 2" won the weekend box office wars, barely.  With $44.7 million in its second week of release, it edged newcomer "Grown Ups 2" which overcame really bad reviews to earn $42.5 million.  "Pacific Rim" debuted in third with $38.3 million, with "The Heat" and "The Lone Ranger" rounding out the top 5.  "Fruitvale Station", based on the real-life shooting of Oscar Grant by a BART officer in San Francisco, opened on just seven screens but pulled in an amazing per screen gross of more than $53,000 per screen.
